DIRECTIONS
NMS is located in New Haven's Audubon Arts District on scenic Audubon
Street, a well lighted, one-way street off of Whitney Avenue, three blocks north
of the New Haven Green and only a five minute walk from the Yale Campus. Convenient
neighbors to NMS are Creative Arts Workshop and Foundry Music Store, as well as
ECA (the Educational Center for the Arts), The New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the
Arts Council of Greater New Haven, and the Media Arts Center. Also in the community
are a variety of stores, coffee shops and restaurants.
From I-91...
Trumbull Street - Exit 3, turn left at light onto Orange St. Go to next light
and turn right onto Grove St. At next light, turn right onto Whitney Ave. Audubon
St. is the first right off Whitney. Look for large vertical "Audubon Court" sign
on the right. NMS is the three-story brick building on the right. From
I-95... Connect to I-91 North. (see above) From Woodbridge/Orange...
Follow Rt. 34 (Derby Ave. to E.T. Grasso Blvd. to Legion Ave.) onto I-91 North.
(see above) From Woodbridge/Amity... Take Whalley Ave., which becomes
Broadway and then Elm St., to the New Haven Green. At the court house on the far
end of the Green, turn left onto Church St. At Willoughby's Coffee, Church turns
into Whitney Ave. (see above)
PARKING
Reduced
rate parking is available for NMS students at the Audubon Court Parking Garage.
Students must validate their parking ticket at the NMS reception desk to qualify
for the discount. Metered, voucher and/or coin street parking is also available
throughout the neighborhood. Availability of street parking depends on day and
time. Please be aware of city signs that limit days and hours.

- Monday through Friday 8:15 am to 9:00 pm
- Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sunday 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm
- Thanksgiving Break - Wednesday, November 25 – Sunday, November 29 –Building is closed
- Winter Recess – Wednesday, December 23 – Sunday, January 3 – Building is Closed
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – Monday, January 18 – Building is Closed

- Monday-Thursday 8:15 am - 9:00 pm
- Friday 8:15 am - 6:00 pm
